GETTING STARTED

The first step would be to arrange a free 20-minute introductory call to discuss what you're looking for and how we might work together. This call would give us the opportunity to see if we’re a good fit and for you to ask any initial questions about the therapeutic process.

If we did decide to move forward, I would then send you my Welcome Pack, which includes my Therapy Agreement and Privacy Notice and we would agree a time and date for our first 50 minute session.

This first 50-minute session would include me gathering information about your history and background. It would also help me understand what you're currently experiencing and how it affects your life and relationships.   Please note that this process can take more than one session depending on what your bring and your history.

DURATION

We would initially work together for 6 weekly sessions and then do a review. We may then decide to meet for a further 6 sessions, work in a more open-ended way or end the work. If we decide that I'm not the right therapist for you, I’d be happy to help you in finding another.

Please note that I typically work with clients on a weekly basis. Regular sessions create a predictable routine, providing a sense of security and maintaining ongoing momentum in addressing issues. This consistency makes it easier to build on the progress made in previous sessions and ensures you have the necessary emotional support as we delve deeper into the work.
