You don't have to carry it all on your own.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, weighed down, uncertain or affected by painful past experiences, I’m glad you’ve found me.

Hi there, I'm Sadie (she/her). I'm a qualified psychotherapist. I'm deeply empathetic and down-to-earth. I bring genuine care and curiosity to my work.

Talking can be a powerful part of therapy, but sometimes words aren't enough. I also draw on EMDR, creative approaches and time in nature, finding ways to work with experiences that can be difficult to put into words.

IF THIS SOUNDS FAMILIAR...

...you’ve been through something painful that you’re still trying to make sense of. A relationship may have ended, you may have lost someone in traumatic circumstances, or something may have happened that still feels too overwhelming to put into words.

Or maybe there isn’t one defining event. Instead, you’re left with a sense that something is wrong with you, or that you don’t quite belong. You might find yourself questioning yourself, doubting your instincts, or feeling like you need to adapt who you are to fit in. And, underneath it all, you may feel very alone.

...I CAN HELP

Whatever has brought you here, you don’t have to make sense of it all on your own. Together, we can begin to understand what you’ve been through, make space for what you’re feeling, and explore what you need now.

You don’t need to have the right words or have everything figured out. We can take things at your pace, with curiosity and compassion, creating space for you to feel more understood, more connected to yourself, and less alone.

WHAT WORKING TOGETHER LOOKS LIKE

Here’s what to expect when you work with me:

1. A free introductory call
We’ll start with a 20-minute video call via Zoom to talk about what’s brought you to therapy, what your hopes are, and whether we feel like the right for for one another. There’s no obligation to continue - I believe that feeling comfortable and connected with your therapist is an essential part of any meaningful therapy.

2. Weekly 60-minute sessions
If we decide to work together, we’ll agree a regular day and time for your sessions each week. This will be your dedicated space, reserved specifically for you. Occasionally, we may need to arrange a different session time, but wherever possible we’ll maintain your regular appointment.

3. Beginning our work together
We’ll start with an initial six-week period, giving us time to build a therapeutic relationship, understand your experiences and explore what you’d like to work towards. We’ll then review how things are going and agree the next steps, whether that’s continuing with further sessions or considering other forms of support.

During this time, we’ll explore your background, including your personal history, health, relationships, work and living situation, as well as the strengths and resources you already have.

4. Reviews and professional support
We’ll regularly review our work together to ensure therapy continues to feel helpful and aligned with your needs. I also attend regular supervision, work within the ethical codes of the BACP and UKCP and undertake ongoing professional development to maintain the highest standards of practice.
